The Connection Info button brings up the display below. It summarizes all the information necessary for a web services programmer to produce and maintain the connection between the Sign Arts website and Address Meister.

Address Meister supports both of the major web services protocols, SOAP (primarily Microsoft) and XML-RPC (primarily Linux), and Sign Arts's webmaster can switch between whichever she desires.

The web services keys are the unique identifiers either protocol uses to determine who is requesting the connection.

When Sign Arts first opened their Address Meister account using the Self Service approach, their webmaster received a starter kit of information and sample code that goes beyond the scope of this slide demo.

Since their webmaster was somewhat new to web services, they opted to switch to the Code Repackaging approach whereby Address Meister programmers modified their existing Sample Kit Request Form. Their webmaster thus gained a working web services example to better understand the technology hands-on.

Not much to say about the Logout button except that you don't need to use it. If you just close your browser, a "cookie" set on your PC will get you back into Address Meister without having to re-enter your username and password. Use the Logout button if you are using a friend's computer or want the extra security.

Click on the Get Help slide to see how Address Meister provides comprehensive help online, via email, or person-to-person.
