Perhaps trying to be funny, the user enters "123 Mickey Mouse" for his address an all too common event with online forms. But when the user presses the Submit button, the form sends the bogus entry through Address Meister, and the error code returned indicates that there is no Mickey Mouse street, avenue, boulevard, etc. in the ZIP code entered. Had the user entered a non-existent house number, changed the city to no longer match the ZIP, or produce any number of other undeliverable addresses, Address Meister would have insisted on correct entries. |
This alerts the user that his entries are being checked, that continued bogus entries will be noted, and undesirable consequences are possible. Sign Arts has shown that they are not an easy butt of jokes that cost money. The user will re-enter his address, but this time make an honest mistake. Click on the Fix Address slide to see how Address Meister can repair addresses that are nearly correct. |
